Sugar Foot is a soulful inspiration that came together in 2021 after the dynamic duo of Ashley Lane and Bradley Turner discovered their love for one another and their shared love for the Americana artform.
Their musical symbiosis is formulated from being born into musical households and being shown the beauty of the singer-songwriter expression at very early ages.
Sugar Foot was born out of a want to explore and pay homage to their love for the blasting audacity of outlaw country, the revelry of old-time mountain music, and the gut-wrenching truth of folk music.
Steep all of that in booze-soaked and confrontational blues music mixed with soft contemplative lullaby like melodies touching on everything from the whimsical to the busted and broken, and you’ve got the musical experience that is Sugar Foot.
Their passionate articulation of music, through lyrics and guitar, brings audiences to a place in time and space long forgotten yet always here.
